hey dudes i know we all got different priorities but don’t be a total bag of limp lettuce if a person says “X really helped me overcome something difficult” like i don’t care if it’s flower crowns, a boy band, anime, superwholockian marathons, adventure time bubbline fanfic, bad poetry, high contrast pictures of crumpled paper, a whole truckload of succulents, whatever: if it made you happy and if it kept you on this planet, i’m proud of you and thank you for staying.

if it’s not hurting anyone or anything, please don’t be ashamed of what gave you enough strength to hold on. there is no “wrong” way to survive. there is no “stupid” reason for staying - because sometimes, the stupid things are all we have left.

please keep drinking green tea or hanging in your disney pj’s or whatever small thing gave you comfort. we like what we like, and we can’t choose what ends up speaking to us. as long as something resonated in you enough that you were able to tap into your own strength: it’s valid. i love you, sweetheart. keep on holding on.
