I have to admit, I’m really happy with the whole charachter development that happened in BoO

I mean:

• Nico getting over Percy and deciding to stay at CHB
• Reyna opening up with Nico about her fears and her past
• Piper realising that her emotions can be a very powerful weapon
• Leo accepting the possibility of his death in exchange of the victory against Gaea
• Hazel showing how badass her powers are (no but really they are fucking awsome)
• Frank learning to accept that one day he will die because of that piece of wood, but that’s life, and he would die someday even without the stick
• Annabeth learning to trust her friend, Piper, even when what she says is completely irracional
• Percy not trying to kill Ares the moment he sees him
• Jason only getting unconscious once on the entire book.
